A proppant is solid material in particulate form that is strong enough to keep fractures propped open in deep hydrocarbon formations, during or following an (induced) hydraulic fracturing treatment. Hence a proppant acts as a “propping agent” - which is how it got its name. The different sizes we offer are:

Resin-Coated Proppant is Coating a sand or ceramic proppant with resin serves several purposes:

To improve the proppant mesh effective strength by distributing the pressure load more uniformly
To trap pieces of proppant (“fines”) broken under the high downhole pressure, thus preventing the fines from entering the borehole and compromising well productivity
To bond individual particles together when under the intense pressure and temperature of the fracture to minimize proppant flowback

An acid type commonly used in oil- and gas- well stimulation, especially in carbonate formations. The reaction characteristics of hydrochloric acid enable it to be used in a wide range of treatments, often with chemical additives that enhance its performance or allow greater control of the treatment. Treatments are most commonly conducted with 15% or 28% solutions of hydrochloric acid. Hydrochloric Acid we can provide is as follows:

We can also dilute the hydrochloric acid on location to match the well specifics to insure the acid is diluted correctly.
